About the Certified Wellness Coach (CWC) Program
Our Certified Wellness Coach core training is offered as a two-day training with live instruction via Zoom. Our class sizes are small with a max of 24 students, so you feel connected and motivated. The rest of the program is self-paced and includes recorded webinars and telephonic practice coaching sessions with our highly-qualified health and wellness coach mentors.-

No. It’s a great option for anyone with a passion for helping themselves and others with overall health and wellness. Becoming a Certified Wellness Coach also provides a pathway for helping people improve their performance at work and in athletics.
The program is designed to work for you, and is self-paced. Depending on your schedule and flexibility, it can take anywhere from a few months to a year or longer to complete. Most of our students complete the Certified Wellness Coach training program in about four months.
No, that is not a current requirement for practicing as a Certified Wellness Coach. However, Catalyst Coaching Institute does offer additional pathways for national certification through our Master Certified Wellness Coach (MCWC) training to help you meet the NBHWC application requirements.
No, you can pursue national certification at your own pace. You might complete CWC training, go into practice for a time, and then come back for MCWC before applying for NBHWC national certification. This program is designed to work with and around your personal needs.
Catalyst Coaching Institute has an amazing community of fellow coaches to answer questions, bounce ideas off of, and simply stay connected. In addition, we offer a robust seat of continuing education resources, including a coaching toolkit and The Coaching Lab podcast, which is a great way to stay current on the latest research in the wellness world and continue to enhance your coaching skills and understanding.
