Exploring the Updated NBHWC Content Outline: Insights into the Revisions for 2026 – 2030

Coaching is an ever-evolving profession, shaped by advances in behavioral science, neuroscience, and our understanding of human physiology. To keep pace with these changes, the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching has updated its Content Outline for 2026–2030, ensuring coaches are equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively support client lifestyle change and wellbeing.

In this course, we’ll explore the most significant updates to the Content Outline, from expanded emphasis on coaching presence and cultural humility to new insights in behavioral science and health equity. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what’s changed, why it matters, and how it impacts your role as a coach.

Your instructor, Sabryna Liddle, MS, NBC-HWC, has been coaching since 2007 and is passionate about helping coaches stay informed, confident, and inspired as the profession continues to grow and evolve.
