Assistance for Wellness Coaches Taking NBHWC Exam

Next month, the NBHWC will host the very first National Board Exam for certified wellness coaches.  This is a very encouraging step for those of us in the wellness industry, as it brings continuity, consistency and additional credibility to the profession of wellness coaching. However, it’s also resulted in quite a few nervous coaches as they prepare for the upcoming exam. If you’re reading this a few weeks prior to the exam, we wish you all the best and congratulate you in your willingness to step up and be counted. Kudos!

On the other hand, maybe you’re in a different group. Maybe you’re one of those people who is considering pursuing a career as a wellness coach and you’re trying to decide which wellness coach certification program will help you make the most of your career.  Your first key step is to select a program that is approved by the NBHWC for the exam. If you know what NBHWC stands for, then you’ve probably already taken care of that step :-).  Catalyst is pleased to be among the first coaching certification trainings to be approved by the NBHWC and we’ve been cheering along their developments ever since.

But then what? Wouldn’t it also be nice if the training program you selected didn’t just provide the accredited education but also helped you prepare for the board exam itself? We thought so too. For that reason, we put together an “Study Review Sessions” program for those planning to sit for the NBHWC board exam. And it’s free.

That’s right. If you are a graduate of the Catalyst coaching certification, then you currently have free access to a series of preparatory educational sessions that compliment your initial training and prepare you for the national board exam. If you’re looking ahead and think that would be a nice bonus to have available when you’re preparing, we’d love to have you join us.

Here’s to a great future of coaching – together!
